We make patterns a little differently to commercial patterns ~ it's actually a lot easier!

Learn to draft custom fitted patterns ~ no more fitting issues!

Detailed - and I mean DETAILED - video tutorials ~ I'll take you through every measurement and line in close detail so all of your questions are answered. If not, there's a comment section at the bottom of each tutrial, so you can ask as many as you want!
Draft your customised bodice, sleeve, pants and skirt blocks ~ These are the building blocks for every single sewing pattern. We go from measurements - to blocks - to creating your own sewing patterns.
Test and perfect your fit ~ Creating your flat patterns is one thing, but you will need to make sure they actually fit you in 3D. We will go over your first mock up, test the fit and fix some of the issues that might pop up. Then we do it all again and upgrade the patterns each time.
Apply your blocks to any pattern ~ You'll learn how to look at a design inspiration, figure out how to build the sewing pattern using style lines, fastenings and everything that will go into your pattern, then actually put it all together!

Advanced Corsetry

It's technical, yes ~ but it's also where some of the most intricate sewing happens. If you've already got the basics down and you're ready to truly nerd out with me, Advanced Corsetry is your next step.

This is an advanced course, so you should be comfortable with garment sewing basics and have some experience under your belt ~ whether that's a few mock-ups or a handful of finished pieces. Please make sure you're good with the basics at least, we get real nerdy in here.

Work with ready-made pattern templates: I don't want to overwhelm you with intricate pattern making methods. I want to show you how to actually make corsets! This way I can show you how to adjust any corset pattern you come across and make it fit you!
MANY fitting techniques ~ How to FIT anything means recognising when you've got a fit issue, and HOW TO FIX THEM.
Work with boning and structure ~ Boning can be anything that gives a corset the vertical tension to hold it's shape. Here's what you need to choose the right kind of boning and where to put it.
