Are you a designer with a vision but no idea where to start?
Whether you’re building your first collection or testing out a single product idea, I offer a complete sampling service designed to support emerging brands and creative startups.
Each sampling project includes everything you need to bring your first garment to life:
Initial Design Consultation
We'll chat through your sketches, ideas or inspiration images so I can better understand your design vision and technical goals.
Pattern Development
I’ll translate your concept into a professional pattern, ready for prototyping.
Fabric Sourcing
Sourcing materials locally and internationally, I’ll help you find suitable fabrics, trims, and components aligned with your product and budget.
Sample Garment Creation
I’ll construct your first physical garment sample with attention to fit, finish, and functionality.
Basic Construction Sheet
A simple document outlining how your sample is built - forming the foundation of your future tech pack.
Optional Add-ons
Pattern Grading & Marker Making
I’ll connect you with trusted local or offshore graders and markers - or coordinate the process on your behalf.
Tech Pack Development
Need a full tech pack later down the line? I can help build on your initial construction sheet with measurements, BOMs, call-outs, and more.

If you’ve been dreaming up a special garment and want to bring it to life with intention, care, and collaboration, this is perfect for you!
I offer a limited number of custom design commissions for clients who are ready to co-create something one-of-a-kind. Whether it’s for a special occasion or simply a piece you’ve always wanted to exist, we’ll work together to turn your idea into a finished sample that reflects your story and style.
What’s included:
After you've completed the inquiry form and we've gone through the initial paperwork:
• An in-person or virtual meeting to explore your design concept and get you set up in your Client Portal
• A fully custom pattern created for your garment
• At least 3 mock-up fittings to ensure a perfect fit (more for complex designs)
• Fabric and supply sourcing from both Australian and international suppliers (deadline permitting)
• A wide range of fabric samples so you can choose the feel, drape, and finish that’s right for you
• One full concept change + two design alterations included
• Final construction of your custom-fitted garment with included garment bag and care instructions.
Optional add-ons:
* Additional design alterations or pattern changes
* Specialty features (like sentimental additions, integrated corsetry, accessibility elements, etc.)
* Custom printed fabrics
* Handmade embroidery or embellishments
* Rush project timeline (when available)
Timeline requirements:
Custom garments take time. Please allow:
* At least 3 months for simple designs
* 9–12 months for detailed or complex garments, up to 18 months for wedding gowns or multiple complex garments.
This process is collaborative, intentional and deeply rewarding. I work with a small number of clients at a time to ensure each piece gets the care and focus it deserves.
